Dead Leaf Moth

Description:

Large Dead Leaf mimic, about 2 cm in body length. Both upper and lower sides of the wings are similar. A much lighter version of this moth was seen in August, maybe because dead leaves were not falling yet in August (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/835...).

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
