House Hopper (Jumping Spider)

Family Salticidae, Trite parvula

Description:

Small spider to approx 5mm. I didn't realise it was so hairy until I downloaded the pic. Trite parvula is a small, relatively common NZ jumping spider found in the North Island and as far south as Christchurch.

Habitat:

Forest. Te Mata, New Zealand
