Megalaima viridis
She has her mouth full of berries probably taking to her nest to feed her chicks.. These barbets are endemic to the western ghats and surrounding areas. About 15 cm long in size, they make their nests in dead branches by chiselling holes like woodpeckers. Even though fruit eaters, they occasionally take insects.
Spotted on a guava tree.
