This gull was ringed as a chick at the Punta de la Banya breeding colony (Ebro Delta) on 23 June 2001.

I have now added the ringing and reporting details of this bird. It seems to have spent the last 15 years patrolling the coast between Barcelona and Valencia!
They are in reverse order, 6 of the last 7 in a sequence of perhaps a dozen or more from when they were just tiny specks far out to sea. There were several over a period of time but this was the only one to come close enough for even an ID, and then the last pictures were within a few feet.
I keep coming back to look at these pics...there is something about them that I'm just loving :)
