Red-winged Fairy-wren

Description:

Initially I thought this was a female but given the bluish tinge I am beginning to wonder if it is a non-breeding male...any help is appreciated...Non-breeding males, females and juveniles are predominantly grey-brown in colour, though males may retain traces of blue and black plumage. All males have a black bill and lores (eye-ring and bare skin between eyes and bill), while females have a black bill, rufous lores and pale grey eye-ring. (Wiki)

At Giants Campsite along the Bibbulmun Track.

Notes:

This lovely little bird is endemic to south-west Western Australia and is similar in appearance to the Variegated Fairy-wren (Malurus lamberti).
