Hemeroblemma mexicana
It is found in Mexico and Central America, including Honduras. Forests, grasslands, areas of transition between Cerrado and Atlantic Forest
The "Hemeroblemma sp." that occurs in Brazil is the "Hemeroblemma opigena", but is very different of the "Hemeroblemma mexicana". So, I check and the "Hemeroblemma mexicana" it's the specie more probable I found this specimen in the room of my house.
No problem, the mistake was made on my part anyway with mixing the scientific and common names...
Thanks for correction bayucca... Common names in English it's not my beach exactly...
Sorry for the confusion I made with the names. The common name Noctuid Moth is not correct. When I am commenting it is Erebidae, than we also should take Erebid Moth to be correct. Sorry for the confusion.
So "bayucca", I checked and found a "Hemeroblemma opigena", that occurs in Brazil. But, is very different of this one. I agree with "Hemeroblemma mexicana"
Erebidae, Erebinae, Thermesiini, Hemeroblemma sp.. Now the tricky part starts! It must be Hemeroblemma mexicana:

So we have a positive record for Venezuela and Guyana:

However, the one from Guyana is IDed as Hemeroblemma nr saundersi, which looks like this and is reported from Brazil and Peru:

OK, the one from Brazil has the ID from me...
The one from Guyana looks in my eyes like Hemerblemma mexicana as well, I will contact the author to check this one.
Another Hemeroblemma mexicana from Texas:

So, please, check all the links and verify! It is possible that there is Hemerblemma mexicana reported that south in Brazil and you maybe have to ask some local people, if there are reports of Mexicana in Brazil.
