Larva of the Flag Moth

Dysschema sp.

Description:

Based on rearing studies of the Flag Moth in Chiapas (see the "Saga of the Flag Moth" Series) and the great similarity between those larvae and this one, I am pretty sure this is also a species of Dysschema (Family Arctiidae).

Habitat:

Overgrown area near the railway bridge entering Fortin de Las Flores (coming from Orizaba), Veracruz, Mexico.
