Simple lead with palm/net like veins. Alternating lead pattern. Evidence of insect predation although partial on leaves closest to ground. Exposure to direct sunlight. Possible commensalism or mutualism with other plant species.

Habitat:

Along side trail approximately 200 yards from trail head. Rocky trail surrounded several other species. Compact soil
