Description:

It can reach lengths of 6 to 9 mm, this on was about 0.5 cm big. The body is dark and the wing covers have a red edge and rows of points. The main food of the Chrysolina sanguinolenta is the Common Toadflax.

Habitat:

Chrysolina sanguinolenta is commonly found in Europe and Asia.

Notes:

The beetle lives from March to October in sandy areas.

It was a warm December so I had a chance to see it, but now is getting warm again, so, hopefully I'll have the chance to encounter them again :)
