Description:

Lebinthus bitaeniatus Stål, 1877 (Gryllidae : Eneopterinae : Lebinthini), synonym of Lebinthus saussurei Bolívar, I., 1889. Philippine-endemic. Distribution range: Luzon. This species is close to L. luae Robillard & Tan, 2013 (distribution: Singapore, and Leyte Island in the Philippines), with Lua's Cricket differing by general shape more stocky, coloration darker with wider yellowish or whitish longitudinal band along body, and without a black line ventrally. Habitat:

Mount Makiling Forest Reserve in Los Baños, Laguna. Found along the trail going to Flat Rock, west of Molawin Creek.
