Euphorbia Cooperi
This is a spiny succulent that eventually grows into a tree around 7 metres high. Branchlets appear highly constricted at intervals that form heart shaped segments. The spines are paired, slender and occur as a continuous strip along the ridges.
Usually found on rocky slopes but expand into surrounding brush.
Latex is highly toxic with an acrid smell. Used as a fish poison.
