Southern Cricket Frog

Acris gryllus

Description:

The park was loud with the sound of hundreds of frogs in chorus. This was the only one I was able to actually see and photograph though

Habitat:

Flooded trail at Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park. Much of the park is saw palmetto and pine, but there is also some cypress swamp and other habitats
