Inch Worm

Description:

Grey and black inchworm. Has short spines. Inchworms have no prolegs between the 2 or 3 at either end which is the reason for their unique method of locomotion.

Habitat:

Found hanging from a thread beneath an orange tree, live oak and pine tree.

Notes:

I put it on a piece of plywood to take pics. In the second and third shots it is doing its imitation of a twig.
