Orange Patched Smokey Moth

Pyromorpha dimidiata

Description:

Looks similar to Lycomorpha pholus, but unsure because it says range is south to North Carolina and coloration is not 100%. Smallish moth maybe a bit bigger than 1/4 in long. Black body, antennae and legs.
