blue Wildebeest

Connochaetes taurinus

Description:

There were literally thousands of these large Antelope roaming the plains of the Ngorongoro crater, they stretched as far as the eye could see, theres no wonder that these are the favourite prey of the Lions here due to the sheer numbers! The wildebeest in Ngorongoro crater do not migrate like a lot of other herds do.

Habitat:

Seen in the Ngororongoro crater Tanzania.

Notes:

Also sometimes referred to as a Gnu.
