Small beetle about 8 mm in length. The antennae have a gradually enlarging club of the last 4-5 segments. The thorax has distinct lateral ridges. Maybe Silvanidae? http://bugguide.net/node/view/599152.
Came to an ultraviolet light. Finca Argovia, Ruta de Cafe, Soconusco area of southern Chiapas, Mexico. About 1 hour from Tapachula.
