Description:

A relatively large deer compared to its cousin, the White Tailed deer. Has a blackish brown nose and tan fur. Is very commonly a roadkill and seen grazing on the side of freeways.

Habitat:

Rocky forest areas. Woodlands with a water source of some sort. Are diurnal.
