This is a brilliant blue butterfly rarely seen sitting still as it darts from one side of the path to the other. Your only chance is to catch it puddling. And even then, it tends to be a bit distracted, going here and there with no regard for the photographer.
Seen on the shore of MacRitchie Reservoir, puddling (as is obvious from the extended proboscis).
Today is the one-year anniversary of my account on Project Noah! I can't wait for all the spottings to come.
