American Green Tree Frog

Description:

A very common frog throughout the southern United States. Can have yellow spots on its back and a white lip. Is green but can turn brown due to mood or humidity changes. Can hop 3.5 feet in one stride.

Habitat:

Swamps and marshes. Usually moist areas of grass. High elevations off the from 5 feet to 25 feet. Can also be found at plant nurseries.
