Downy Woodpecker

Does anyone think this might be a Downy Woodpecker rather than a Hairy? Medium size woodpecker. Female, black and white. White breast and back. Striped head.

Habitat:

Woodland area near stands of dead trees

Notes:

Some confusion as to whether this is a Downy or Hairy Woodpecker.

I think I agree with Downy - http://www.birds.cornell.edu/pfw/AboutBi... this one seems to have a shorter beak
