Downy Woodpecker

Picoides pubescens

Does anyone think this might be a Downy Woodpecker rather than a Hairy? Medium size woodpecker. Female, black and white. White breast and back. Striped head.

Woodland area near stands of dead trees

Some confusion as to whether this is a Downy or Hairy Woodpecker.

I think I agree with Downy - this one seems to have a shorter beak

These guys can be be so hard to tell at times. I am leaning towards Downy.
