Singapore and the surrounding areas was never a suitable habitat for the ancestral Rock Pigeons which were domesticated thousands of years ago and since then have formed feral populations throughout the world. The nearest place where pure Rock Pigeons are likely to be found is probably some parts of Myanmar.
