Pinna nobilis
A half destroyed shell of a noble pen shell (pinna nobilis), one of the many found washed ashore at Agia Marina beach, Stylida, Greece. The species lives up to 15 years, and reaches the 90 cm in size, and is considered a protected species within the European Union.
