Description:

Spotted this little guy having a early winter morning snack at one of his food stashes.

Habitat:

Spotted next to a trail at the Woodard Bay Conservation Area near Olympia, Wa. Douglas squirrels live in coniferous forest habitats along the Pacific Coast, from the Sierra Nevada (mountains) of California, northwards to the southwestern coast of British Columbia.
