Medium sized spider. Orb-shaped web with a mess of webbing above. Gray, somewhat disc-shaped structures on a single line of webbing, possibly egg sacs. Spider was resting camouflaged at the base of the structures.
Bayard Cutting Aboretum. Temperate forest. Trailside.
Saw several of these. Very shady areas.
