Beetle, black with yellow dots. 4 yellow dots on each elytron. Elongated body. A small yellow-orange line on the side of the body. Antennae not large or small.
Found in a garden on the Malvastrum americanum plant (a weed in the area).
Saw several beetles on the Malvastrum americanum plant. They were on the flower (possibly eating pollen or nectar?). Some were mating.
