This plant looks very much like a chilli plant with fruits like small cherry tomatoes.

Habitat:

Spotted growing near wetlands.

Notes:

This plant is native to Peru and Ecuador but has become naturalised in Australia and other countries. The fruits are poisonous but not life-threatening. They are also toxic to dogs, cats and certain birds. Seeds are dispersed by birds that eat the berries. family: Solanaceae
