Spotting

Description:

This was a fairly large spider, probably an inch to an inch and a half long. Did not seem overly frightened, but not aggressive, either.

Habitat:

Found near the remains of a fire, close to a house.

Notes:

This is the kind of spider I have always called a wolf spider, but after some research, I believe I have been wrong in that assumption. I now believe it to be perhaps some kind of grass spider. I have not been able to correctly identify it.
