A nitid brown shallow hemispherical leaf beetle with very fine elytral puncturation series. The margins of the exosleletal parts are black.

Habitat:

This is found limited to a region of Victoria, Australia associated with red gum eucalyptus

Thankyou Daniele. The brown (rufobrunnea = red brown) color is curiously prominent color for a diurnal beetle. Its closest ally is beata, which is spotted. Other allied species are black or primarily black, and nocturnal.
