Description:

A unique fly with white abdomen having black beautiful stripes on it. It has black antennae . The legs and lower abdomen is pale yellow .

Habitat:

Found wandering on the Calotropis sp. Plant at my hometown . I think there was a fight for mating between male and female as they are very active .

Sphecidae/Digger Wasps. Actually I do not know what this guy is doing on a flower, but I am pretty sure it is a digger wasp from the family Sphecidae. I do not know if you can ID it from only a picture. There is not much info about these ones found in India.
