Description:

These sparrows were perching upon the reeds and seemingly catching insects that were in the marsh weed, they would hover over a certain area for a few seconds and then fly back to their perch on the reeds. there were several of them doing this over the same area. This is a very common bird and found in most parts of the world.

Habitat:

seen on a freshwater pond where the river ends in an uninhabited part of Altea. Spain.
