A bird of northern forests, the Northern Waterthrush sings its loud, ringing song from wooded swamps and bogs. It can be seen on migration bobbing its tail near wet spots in parks or back yards.

Kathleen - I am fortunate to have ample time off of work to work it in, but a lot of this year will be spent in the air traveling from country to country.
Tom - Thanks! Sounds good that they made it safe ;-) we had quite a few birds die when they made landfall this year. I did not have to endure it but many many in the area reported this.

I really like this too, Cody. Yes, work and bird photography are hard to mix sometimes! When (if) I retire from our family business, I hope to photograph more birds myself.
Thanks Debbie! I'm slowly getting my warbler shots up for the season. I am definitely sad that migration has ended for me with my scheduled work hours what they are.
