Description:

One of the most common birds found in North America. Grayish tan with lighter belly. Reddish legs. Dark spots on wings. Light bars on tail can be seen when taking off for flight. Pale blue ring around eyes and eyelids. Long, pointed tail.

Habitat:

Woodlands. Connetquot State Park, New York. Can be found in multiple types of habitats including urban, suburban and rural.
