Orchard Oriole

Icterus spurius

Description:

This is a young male. Yellow overall and starting to get the black on the face that the adult male has. The wings are black with two wing bars. He was singing his little heart out from this tree and let me get pretty close, it was exciting :)

Habitat:

Found in open forests in North America. This guy was flying around with another young male oriole right outside our bunkhouse.
