Lark Sparrow

Description:

They have a streaked back and light gray belly. The head has a red cap, and reddish patches on the sides of the face. In between the red is white stripes. They are often described as having "clown faces."

Habitat:

Found throughout North America in low shrub areas. This guy was sitting on a low tree in an open woodland area.
