Brown creeper

Certhia americana

Description:

Just got back to my home in Maryland and went to my favorite birding place and spotted this wonderful brown creeper. Did not know they were in this area. It was camouflaged in the tree as you can see in two of the pictures. Small, slim, camouflaged tree climber. Brown above, whitish below, with slender curved bill and stiff tail.

Habitat:

This brown tree climber was spotted near a pond jumping from tree to tree at Kinder Farm Park in Millersville, Maryland
