Yellow Douglas Fir Borer

Centrodera spurca

Description:

Long tan beetle with long horns. There are two dark spots, one on each elytra along the outside edge. The thorax has spines along the outside edge.

Habitat:

Was found on a window screen then put on a branch for images. I don't know of a Douglas Fir nearby so it may be just passing through?

Notes:

Spotted by one of my teen nature enthusiasts :)
