Fairly small caterpillar, less than 1 inch. Never noticed one this colour before.
I'm not sure, but it could be an Owlet Moth caterpillar that has been infected by a parasitic nematode. I have heard that this can turn them bright red. I think the nematode is in the genus Heterorhabditis.
