Description:

This was a nice size plant - about 1 meter in diameter. A purple to pink wildflower with 5 petals, each petal slightly folded along the middle and with a notch creating 2 rounded lobes at each tip.

Habitat:

Spotted in sagebrush steppe. Above 2000 ft.

Notes:

Found in western North America.
