Singerocybe

Singerocybe clitocyboides

Description:

This pretty mushroom had pale pinkish brown cap upto 40 mm wide. The flat centred waxy cap thinned out towards a frilly margin. The underside was pale with slightly crowed, decurrent gills. The stipe was pale and slightly furry. The base of the stipe seemed to flatten and had a small mass of white mycelium. I could only get a weak spore print which was pale - ?white/ ?cream/? pale pink

Habitat:

Spotted growing on moist decaying wood or bark in a national park. The damp ground was matted with pieces of wood, moss and various plants.
