Description:

A medium-sized dragonfly; abdomen mostly black with triangular yellow (or red) markings on the dorsum, yellow (or red) stripes on thorax side, face is white, eyes brown.

Habitat:

Very large range of habitats: bogs, fens, ponds and roadside ditches. Spotted in urban park.
