Papakolea Green Sand Beach, on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Yes, I was looking too and only find the House Mouse for Hawaii. Is it on the green sand beach? or moss?
After some research, it seems that the House Mouse (Mus musculus ) is the only common mouse species found on the Hawaiian Islands. Guess I was just being lazy, thanks for inspiring me to do some digging!
So cute…maybe a species of Peromyscus?
