Please consider this may be Klug's Xenica, a slightly smaller but still common 'brown' butterfly. The chevrons on the hind wing are not found in Heteronympha. H. merope will have no pigmentation along the fw discal cell vein. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/734...

Common Brown butterfly. This species is very sexually dimorphic.
