Description:

Black scat made out of attached berries/pellets.

Habitat:

Near jungle and reservoir and MRT in Yishun Singapore.

Notes:

I have seen hoof prints on this track in September see http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/439... are they of the same creature?

OHHH! That's it. I am so excited! I thought it was just some rodent or deer like ( because of the nearby found hoofprints) poop and now it really looks like civet poop to me. THANK YOU brycegarling.
I will keep my eyes out for a civet!

I can't answer your question about the hooved animal with certainty, but this is not from the "others" category. I have moved it for now to the mammals category :-)
