This wasp is a member of the Genus Phanerotoma in the Family Braconidae (Braconid Wasps).

Habitat:

This one was observed at a porch light near a southern deciduous forest in Edgefield County, SC.

Notes:

This parasitic wasp feeds on Lepidoptera (primarily moths in the Families Pyralidae and Tortricidae).
