Don't worry about it. These are Leaf-footed bugs. Just remember most big bugs don't like to go in water but they need a little drink sometimes in hot weather. You might find something about this one on this Austin bug page http://www.austinbug.com/survey/2011/sur...

A lot of creatures try to drink water in hot weather and get stuck. This one does not like water to live in. It should be up in a tree.
