I was transported to the tropics upon seeing this bird! What a beautiful flame of life after a long winter and cold early spring.

Habitat:

Mixed coniferous/deciduous woodland with shrubs and some small creeks.

Yes, it is so nice when the breeding birds return from the tropics! We have Warbling Vireo, Western Tanager and Yellow-rumped Warblers singing today here! I love Spring!
