Description:

White Admiral has an upper side that is black with broad white median bands on both wings, hind wings has a row of blue dashes and a sub-marginal row of red dots. Underside is reddish-brown with white median bands as on the upper side.

Habitat:

Spotted at Tamarac near Pine Lake on Hwy 29. They are often found in deciduous broad-leaf or mixed evergreen forests dominated by aspen or birch.
