Spotted Eagle Ray

Aetobatus ocellatus

Description:

Spotted Eagle Ray in Kealakekua Bay, on the Big Island of Hawaii. This was seen right near the Captain Cook Memorial in this bay. he was a big one, with a wingspan around 5-6'.

Notes:

This was the first Spotted Eagle Ray we ever saw snorkeling, during our vacation to the Big Island in 2011.
