Description:

Part of the large and varied cirsium family, this one grows to around 50cm and has one to three flowers per stalk. the flowers are pink/purple and its outer bracts are green with arched backed yellow spine tips.

Habitat:

found at Bempton cliffs, near Bridlington on the East coast of Yorkshire in the grasslands surrounding the edge of the cliffs.
