Reed Snake

Calamaria sp.

Description:

Small reddish brown, mottled snake. Small head and slightly paddle style tail.

Habitat:

Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.

Notes:

Spotted this on the road at the start of my daily safari. Unfortunately, a cat spotted it at the same time and that was the end of that.
